    Excellent ranking as usual! Definitely my favourite movie blog to follow; your writings are so detailed and well supported

    Have you ever considered ranking the Best Actor and Supporting Actor wins? It would be really interesting to see....

    Congratulations, Fritz! Well done as always.

    @Anonymous: Thanks a lot for your kind words! About actor and supporting actor: my knowledge about these categories is very limited. I am checking out some Best Actor winners from time to time but I will take me a while before I have seen and ranked them all.

    @deanie: thanks a lot! :-)

    Amazing ranking, as always, of course there are some things I disagree with (Mo'Nique mainly!!) but just based on your top 10, I can say it's a brilliant ranking, great work. Can't wait to see what's next!

    I would've had Mo'Nique way higher :P never seen Miracle Worker, so won't comment on that.

    I know, everyone has Mo'Nique higher...again, I'm the odd-man-out. :-)

    But Alex, The Miracle Worker is on youtube, do yourself a favor and watch it! It's truly a little masterpiece!

    Brilliant rankings!

    I followed your blog the whole of this summer and it is simply a masterpiece.

    Bravo!

    Only thing I would've had different was Mp'Nique up in the top 10

    Thank you very much, nues! And also thank you for all your comments!

    Brilliant! I've just discovered your blog from Twice a Best Actress, and I am really happy I did! I really like your list, but I disagree with a few of them (Mo'Nique is my number one, and many of the performances you put lower I have much higher on mine!) But I haven't watched all of these films, so I can't really judge properly until I have. I am trying to, though!

    I think your list shows great care and appreciation, but I don't get you're having Judi Dench at #46 for "Shakespeare In Love." Nothing against Judy Dench, but this part was small and any number of women could have done it. Kathy Bates was robbed for not winning for "Primary Colors."
